Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that Highfields State Secondary College (HSSC) does not have dedicated outdoor hardcourt facilities (multi-use courts suitable for basketball, netball, and tennis) required for curriculum delivery.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Minister for Education to deliver fit for purpose outdoor hardcourt facilities at HSSC, including multi-use courts with appropriate surfaces, line marking, shade, lighting and safety features, and to consult the HSSC P and C on design and delivery to ensure the facilities meet the student needs and future growth.
