Visitor access to committee proceedings

Sessions marked with an asterisk* will be broadcast live on Parliament TV and green shaded sessions are open to the public. However, please note that space in rooms can be limited and there is no guarantee attendance will be possible.*

*Visitors attending as witnesses invited by a Committee will be permitted.

Access to the Parliament for members of the public wishing to attend a public hearing or briefing is through reception on the ground level of the Parliamentary Annexe in Alice Street. Please inform us of any special needs you may have prior to attending a public hearing and we will endeavour to accommodate them.

Attendees will need to pass through security and must provide government issued photo identification (such as a driver licence) as proof of identification before being allowed entry. Please note that items, including clothing, displaying a political statement are prohibited without permission (see section 11, Parliamentary Service By-law 2023).

Please enter the meeting room only if there is a sign indicating that the room is ‘open to the public’. Please wait outside if you do not see such a sign, as the committee might be discussing something in private, or the schedule might have changed at short notice.

The Committee Business Schedule is current as at 3 December 2024.
