The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the landholder objections to the Marmadua Energy Park and the Tara Wind Farm Development, due to the impact on the local environment, animal habitat, land values, state and local roads, council rates, and the increased risk of bushfire from these developments along with the intergenerational visual pollution.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all within their power to urge these energy developers to not proceed with these projects due to the Tara regions repetitive bushfire history and impacts on the environment and visual pollution.
