Year 10 to Year 12 education program
Deepen your students' understanding of how Queensland Parliament operates and the role the government plays in shaping law to reflect shifting societal demands.
This program will see your students:
- Learn key legal concepts such as representative government, responsible government, separation of powers doctrine and unicameralism.
- Discover the architectural features and history of Parliament House.
- Explore and analyse the law-making process through a role play.
- View the Legislative Assembly in action (sitting days only).
- Meet your member of parliament (subject to availability).
