Three Year Review of the Crime and Misconduct Commission 2009
The Parliamentary Crime and Misconduct Committee is an all-party committee of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. The main functions of the Committee are to monitor and review the performance of the functions of the Crime and Misconduct Commission (CMC) and to report to the Legislative Assembly.
Pursuant to section 292(f) of the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 (Qld), the Committee must conduct a three year review of the activities of the CMC and to report to the Legislative Assembly as to any further action that should be taken in relation to the Crime and Misconduct Act or the functions, powers and operations of the CMC.
