E-Petition

The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that a large contingent of successful cities around the world allow for motorcycles to use their bus lanes as an additional safety method as opposed to having to travel amongst other motor vehicles and large trucks. Using bus lanes provides a safer way for motorcyclists to move with traffic which in turn can reduce the amount of costly and dangerous accidents that currently occur saving the city time, money and most importantly the lives of its citizens that choose to use the relatively more efficient way to commute to work daily.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to allow motorcycles to use Queensland Bus Lanes for safer traffic travel.
