TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The Petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the intolerable congestion in Brisbane and the suburbs. Emergency vehicles struggle to get to where they are needed and then get back to the hospital.
Too many people in Queensland are generating massive problems for us all.
The increase in people is pushing up property prices making it difficult for young folk to enter the market.
The State must cease to issue clearance for land developers.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to stop giving the authority to land developers to build more homes.
