The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the recent notification of Driver Reviver to be closed as of 2 January 2023.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to allow QCWA Gin Gin Branch and other supporting volunteers to provide the Drive Reviver service to the travelling public who visit Gin Gin each and every year to ensure the ongoing safety of travellers, and community connections that are created through this important volunteer program continue within the town of Gin Gin.
