Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need to improve the safety of the intersection at Kuran Street and Bradman Avenue, Maroochydore. In the past two years the local population has grown significantly and the volume of traffic moving through this intersection has also increased substantially. Visibility at this intersection is impacted by a single car park on Bradman Avenue and could be improved by either extending the yellow ‘No Standing’ line or installing traffic lights at the intersection.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to do all in its power to ensure improve the safety of this intersection by either improving visibility with the extension of the yellow line, or traffic lights, as a matter of urgency.
