New Science building for Corinda State High School
Eligibility - Queensland residentsCorinda State High School
CORINDA QLD 4075
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need for the replacement of the Science building (L-Block) at Corinda State High School, a high performing school in Brisbane which places a strong emphasis on STEM.
The current Science building is 60 years old and is no longer a fit for purpose facility for our students to achieve outstanding excellence in STEM.
A new purpose-built, state-of-the-art learning facility will encourage students to take up STEM subjects, key to future employment prospects, for our current and future students.
The Corinda school community appreciates the $200,000 feasibility study and is seeking community support to request that the State Government continues supporting our STEM students by the construction of a new purpose-built STEM facility.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all within its power to facilitate the construction of a new purpose-built STEM facility at Corinda State High School.
