TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the inability of
citizens to register and vote electronically.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to refer the matter to the
Legal, Constitutional and Administrative Review Committee asking it to
investigate ways to allow Queenslanders to vote electronically. Your
petitioners believe that this would improve access to democracy for rural
and regional Queenslanders and people with disabilities.
