The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws the attention
of the House to the lack of doctors servicing the Tara and District
Communities and the fact that the town has one doctor at present and
requires another 2.45.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to urgently secure the
services of a locum doctor to assist the existing Medical Superintendent
with the workload until such time that more private or public doctors can
be established in the community.
