To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that the Federal Government is proposing new firearms legislation. This proposal will adversely affect all licensed pistol shooters in Queensland.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to protect the current status of all legally registered firearm owners and sporting club shooters in the State of Queensland.
